Food poisoning kills a child, 17 hospitalised

Nagpur: A four-year-old boy died due to food poisoning while 17 other children were admitted to a government hospital in Tumsar in neighbouring Bhandara district, police said on Friday.

Police said the children from the Aaanganwadi Vidyalaya in Beetpur village ate their mid day meals, and started complaining of uneasiness, stomach pain, etc.

Vishal Maraskolhe (4) died on the way to hospital, police added. Police are investigating further.
